Good for you. I was raised on Tech football. Those are the games I have attended since I was in my mama's womb. Pepper Rodgers was at my baptism along with a handful of Tech greats. In my 36 years, there is not a season where I have not attended a game. I've never not been a Tech fan.
Frankly, I don't give two shits where your sister's neighbor's cousin got her degree or who the frick you pull for on Saturdays.

No shite. I've never stated otherwise. You seem to be the only one obsessing about it. This isn't the first thread that you've followed me around on pointing and saying, "but he didn't go to Tech!" Kinda sad, really.

It pains me to say this, but I agree with you. If you are that attached to Tech through family and since you were born, by all means use "we." You are a supporter of the team, regardless of where you went.
I played 1 year at UGA as a WR and I don't think it's bad when people who never played use "we."
My appendix ruptured and spleen split, that's why I decided to quit. Ron Corson told me it would take about 9 months to get back where I was (lost 30 lbs in 2 weeks).
Anyway, you don't need to have played or graduated from the University use "we."

I'm not the one obsessing over it. As Deeprig noted, my first alma mater doesn't have a team. My second just got one a few years ago and I support them as well. My third school, my graduate school, had a team and I also support them. But I wasn't raised a "Panther" or a "Ragin' Cajun." Speaks to the level of your intelligence that you can't seem to grasp that. I'll be glad to explain it to you or anyone else over some beers. I'm in Athens, so come on and visit. First round's on me.

no, no, no... I dont give tow shits if you like Tech football. When you get snarky about UGA and its students, then we are going to have to draw a line. Tech grads have a right, even if it is misguided, to beat their chest about the academics and student body...
You, are a Tech fan... if you somehow attempt to make snarkyness about anything else other than comparison of the football teams whilst implying that you are in any way tied to the academic prowess of Tech... just know that you will be continued to be called out.
