Yup, you're right. I forgot about the punt. Either way, if you worry about anything, it shouldn't be our offense imo.

To expound on this a little, Alabama has 26 pass breakups on the season. 8 of those are from defensive backs

what?

31 total points

punt return + interception return = 14

31-14= how much the offense scored= 17

We did miss two field goals, so in essence, the offense did put us in position for 23 possible points and did run a lot of clock in the fourth quarter instead of trying to move the ball. Also, I think Vandy being a historically crap team and a road game could have been a factor to sloppy play. Just a thought.

why? because they looked good against shitty teams? Bama's defense is their best unit. Im not too worried about our defense (unless Henry gets going early and Kiffin schools us like he did in Knoxville again). Our offense vs their defense will decide the game. We're either gonna win 35-24 or lose 17-24

Because we have the best RB1/RB2/RB3 combo in the country. We have a stud WR. We have a QB who has been more dominant than not this year and destroyed a big NCAA record. We have a very good OL with a lot of experience. And have you seen what IM has done this year?

Most of this stuff is not new this season. Most of these guys were here last season too, against strong D, so it's not a fluke. This year we've got a better D to complement.

I honestly feel great. I felt the same way before the USC game, and that turned out really well...
Hopefully my feeling is right again. I'm saying 41-24 dawgs.

Bama had 5 turnovers and Ole Piss the supposed number 3 team in the nation beat them by 6.

You can beat your sweetheart's arse that shite ain't happening again. Saban will have them breathing fire.

If we don't play real well, we will take a drubbing.

I don't agree we get drubbed...revenge game...for one...a statement game for UGA...and this year, believe it or not, we have much better play makers. Bama has a great defense but we will score points. They can't say the same. Stack the box and make Coker beat us...he wont.

34-28 Dawgs take a 31-21 lead into 4th. Add three and hold on for a historic picturesque setting when the clock ends at 0:00

Hopefully history repeats itself and we do the same thing to Alabama that we did in 1965.

I believe it's going to be epic....and epic in a 2012 SECCG way...not 2008.

We could easily loose...but after 2012 I have faith in CMR to hold his own against Saban - especially now that we have a defense again. With all the Bama guys on our staff we know what to expect and I think the players will be ready.

This game will be won or lost on the line...who can effectively run the ball and who can protect the QB?

I'm nervous....but just happy for the opportunity and that we didn't lose to fricking SC again. As long as we don't pooch kick or get burned by a fake punt I'm okay with whatever outcome.

Edit: by okay I mean that I'll be pissed...but not a raving lunatic like after Tech last year.

I think this game became more difficult and our chances dropped when Alabama lost to Ole Miss. If they had come in undefeated, we would have underdog status and would have possibly catch them feeling overconfident. Now they will definitely play with desperation.

That first half against Southern got me a little worried. Yes, we came out totally flat. But I would have expected such a huge talent difference that we still should have been able to run effectively. Against Alabama, we need to execute at an incredibly high level.

UGA is on the rise but I'm not sure we're quite "there" yet. Our secondary is still young overall; our interior defensive line is also going to have a lot to deal with going up the Alabama OL.

And then there's the Lambert factor. Can he come out against Alabama and be as calm and efficient as he has been the last two games? Or is he going to be running around in a panic, especially if he faces pressure early on?

This UGA team has a lot of talent but do they have the maturity to know how to win the really big games? We'll see.

I could see us losing 28-21 or thereabouts. On second thought...maybe more like 31-28.

Dragline beat Luke's arse, the Captain breaks him, and Boss Godfrey whacks him. Let's hope Lambert fares a little better than that.

Problem is we have to throw it early...you know their D is going to be geared to stop Chubb and I don't think we'll be able to impose our will on their D.

Some play action with quick outs to the TE or God forbid Sony would be a good way to start.

After the loss to Old Miss we're going to get their best. Goddamn this will be huge.

ARE YOU MAN ENOUGH???
