Never watched the show but I had something pretty similar happen to me last month.

I was in Arizona for work, landed there at 9 local time. We'll I didn't know anyone and It was noon in my mind so I hit the bar. Jumped from bar to bar to bar till around 8 pm then decided my knees were weak enough for the night. Kinda was a blur from leaving last bar till I woke up.

We'll after work the next day we had a company dinner. Before it starts everyone is having a drink and getting to know one another. Well the dude comes up to me and said " man I've been try'n to get with you all day, you frickin killed it singing at the bar last night " I looked at him and said " man you must have the wrong guy. I was out pretty early last night" he replies " well you've got a twin brother out here" he was very adamant that it was me. So I asked him to tell me about it. He says " Well I was down at the hotel bar having a few drinks try'n take conversation since I don't know anyone here. You walked in through the side door, went up to the bar and ordered a beer. Then out of no where you start singing Bennie and the Jets" it hit me then all of the sudden a light went off and I remembered exactly wtf he was talking about. I didn't acknowledge it yet cause I wanted to see what he thought. " You frickin killed it man! That was the best entrance to a bar I've ever seen. You got through singing, chugged your beer gave the bartender a ten and said "Hope you enjoyed the show, next one isn't free" then winked at him and walked out."

Good times once again.
