This is the game we put it all together, sans kicking.

4 and 10, don't care, go for it

I think we lose by 10-14 points but that's just me. I hope I'm wrong. I just don't see us slowing down swag and their d line will demolish our o line.

OM getting too much credit for their losses.

Literally no rush game, play zone and let Swag throw a couple of picks

I agree, I don't think OM looks that good. If you can even somewhat contain Swag they have no rush game.

Plus I think the Bama game was perfect for us. They gave it all they had, went up big, and then watched it crash and burn.

I think we win another tight one. 34-31.

I have all the confidence in the world in Eason. I truly think he has "it" and we will prevail.

I didn't think he would command the game this early in the season.

Lambo def not starting again if Eason is able to play.

I mean seriously. Eason is that freaking good. Never once did the kid panic. He did force some throws, he held the ball a little too long on some drives, and he had happy feet in a few throws. All of this will improve the more he plays and gels with the personnel around him. I haven't been more impressed with a QB since 05 Shockley. I truly believe this guy will keep us in every game, even as a Freshman.

Other than the part where they scored two tds in a few seconds and nearly came back, you mean. That game was a knife-fight, and they didn't quit.

Chad Kelly actually faced a team that had a pass rush and were making him move out of the pocket and run. Unless we've been holding back our pass rush for this game, I think he will have all day to pick our secondary apart. I hope I'm wrong.

Hope you're wrong too.

Have to agree, if he gets the time Lock had this past weekend then we will get picked apart.

For us to win this game it will take some key turnovers and a pick six or two. I just don't see how we vastly improve our current issues in just a few days.

Pull out everything we've been holding on to and cross your fingers that OM screws themselves.

Unless our line gets pissed off and suddenly becomes good at football, Eason will be running for his life

MiZZery gave up what like 4 or 5 turnovers?...and how many did we capitalize on?...it takes a kicking game to do that...and we have none...zero...HAM is gonna lose some games for us...you are correct in that it will have to be pick 6's for us to get the points...the D will have to do it...

I'm a little unhappy with the 2 missed field goals if you couldn't' tell....

If OM had won I'd be feeling better. Potential let down would be at play. Since they lost I don't see them not focused all week long.

We rushed 3 and 4 most of the game. The goal was clearly to make the pocket small and take away the middle of the field with the pass rush and dropping LBs. all the INTs were to the outside, where we forced him to throw as the game went by. You don't need 5 sacks to have a good pass rush strategy.

Mizzou chose to rush 5 a lot which put them in man situations ...they felt they could pressure Eason into mistakes and bad throws. Note the one int he threw was a zone coverage and he didn't see the guy sitting in the middle.

It wouldn't surprise me if we did similar against Kelly. You start doing a bunch of stunts and blitzes against him and he can beat you with his feet with rushing and stretching a play

I wanna believe...I do. But I don't Unfortunately we get handed our first loss Saturday if we continue the oline play and questionable coverage.

Kelly >>>>> Milktoast

Im thinking 34-21

Hope I am wrong.

Yep, this could be the perfect situation for a major hangover for them. Huge letdown loss. 11 AM kick the following week against a seemingly inferior opponent. Jacob Eason dragging his huge balls all over the field. I like it.
