I was actually thinking about making the trip to Columbia this year. The only "away" games I've been to have been the cocktail parties and I think it would be shameful to not travel to at least one true away game while in school at UGA. I have had friends go to this game and swore they would never return but I figure this is the best chance we will have at winning there in a while. Plus, I have good friends who go there and always setup great tailgates so we will see how it goes.

I lost my road V Card to Georgia Tech in 2005. Unless you count GA/FLA in which case it was in 1990 and I have no recollection of any of it. If you don't count GT, though, it was 2010 vs USCe which oddly enough fits in with the thread's pattern

I definitely took my lumps in Jax before I saw a win. Went 2003, 2005, 2006, before finally seeing us win there in 2007. Then followed it up with a couple of losses in 2009-10 before seeing us finally win in 2012

Oh I am well aware, but we haven't won there since 2008 and SC has been a team that GA has consistently struggled against under Richt so I typically am very concerned when we play there no matter how good they are. Not to mention the Spurrier factor..

Heard that. Went there before I turned a year old and pretty sure we lost. Went a bunch when I lived in Jax as a tot but then I saw 97 and 04 so I used to be able to say I have seen all the Ws in my lifetime. Honestly, outside of 07 I have still seen all our wins vs UF live. In addition to a bunch of other shite...

Yea, that will definitely be beneficial. We need to line the practice field with heaters and shite so the by the time they hit the field in Columbia, they feel like it's 65 and breezy.
