Or in the least, contributed as a final nail in the Richt coffin. My guess is CMR obviously recognized that our offense was weak this season so he rolled the dice hoping against hope that a mobile QB might make a difference against a stout Florida defense; clearly it didn't. But the fact that Bauta only ran the ball 3 times in the game for 4 yards is a real head scratcher? Bauta threw 4 INT's in the game and should have in the least been replaced after the first half.

Precisely. That promise had been made. There's so much more to CMR's situation than has been made public. There usually is when a move like this is made. I just wish we could have retained Pruitt. But the water was poisoned and he didn't want any more of what Rocker described. But, like I said, the right guy's in place now. We're gonna be very good on the D side of the ball next year. If we can patch together an o-line and get Chubb healthy, we might surprise some people.

I have heard this story too, but my person that told me this was an Alabama fan with tight ties to a recruiting analyst for 247. I am glad I saw it on here because I started to question the story all together.
