There are reports from Ohio State that the coaches have openly made it known they were not sold on Martell. Fields will start from day one up there. No question.

I agree. Tate is no longer a fit for what tOSU does....but Fields most likely is.

Fields totally is. They will let him learn on the job just like Trevor Lawrence at Clemson. We will likely meet him sometime down the road. Best hope we're ready when we do. I would be embarrassed to lose to his arse.

Hopefully the entitlement that has been built up in the program has been dealt with by then

Are there details on the release or is he going to sit out for a year?

Two five stars who can't read defenses or check off at the line of scrimmage.

You think Kirby had a difficult situation. Now, Day is going to have to deal with 1 QB that has openly called out the other incoming QB. Tate Martell also has been in the system for a couple of years and probably has made a bunch of friends/backers in his locker room. Starting Fields over him could fracture the locker room and could send the message that none of the guys prior to Day being the head coach are "his guys".

Yahoo said something to the tune of getting a hardship due to the racial slur incident.

Glad this is over. He has been a distraction since he stepped foot on campus.

I’m starting to see why Fields didn’t develop faster. OState is an awful choice if you’re leaving UGA to get playing time. He’s got to beat out two guys and their coaching staff is in transition.

Do they even have an OC yet?

Better them than us. We’ve been dealing with this for 2 years it would appear.

He should have followed Tucker to Colorado if he wanted to absolutely be the man.

Hope he’s watching his former teammates play for the ship one year from now.

Ohio State could make it to the playoffs too. Just because Fields handled his stay at Georgia poorly (IMO), doesn't mean that his potential is diminished. With a little maturity and experience he could put up huge numbers in the Big 10, maybe even next year. Despite Big 10 fans hating to hear it, their defenses are just not as fast or physical as SEC defenses.
