The missed PI on Pickens was terrible but I think they gave us one shortly afterwards. I have heard the bama LB clapped causing the missed snap I didn't see that. One play Young was pressured and threw a long pass down the left side, no one close Im not sure why no grounding was called. Overall can't blame the refs we have gotten it worse in the past.

They missed a chop block on Bamas first touchdown. But other than that nothing really stood out.

For a bama game, i thought officiating was fair.

Yeah RB hits Tindall low and an interior lineman engages up high

I must have missed that one. There was another one where the LB, I think Quay, was running free up the middle and the rb kneecapped him.

Bama’s line was holding all night and it was key to their survival but we got several calls our way too so…

Was it just me or did our dline seem gassed. IDK at this point I was reaching for any explanation.

I had a thread about this earlier today but not sure where it went. The "College Football Nerds" YouTube channel is really highlighting this in their post game analysis. There's a Bleacher Rant article about the Bama win and in the photo used for the article intending to show a BY hero QB shot Nolan Smith is in the background and is clearly being held by his jersey and his wrist.

With BY's elite release speed, holding on the OL gives him a HUGE advantage, especially with those elite WRs. It's as if someone realized that simply not calling holding in the trenches equalizes our DL vs their OL and allows them to carve up our secondary.

Exactly! It gave them a huge advantage over us. You take that away and we are getting after the QB and we have enough personnel in the coverage to limit the explosive plays.
I do think going for it in 4th down and failing gave them extra momentum and a field goal would have made the score manageable. This whole game would have been different.
Who controls the SEC officials? What would motivate them to help Bama in this situation?

My theory is two teams in the playoff and look at what we have now? More money to the conference. This isn’t a football game this is a money game.
