shouldn't take 2-3 years, imo...we have the talent and the new DC's system isn't that complicated...I think by the end of this season we will be excited about the D..

Uhh..you don't have a damn thing on your side.

What YOU said was that Richt is basically incapble of having a "take the bull by the horns, let's go kick some arse" mentality. And the fact is that you couldn't be more wrong. I bet all you know about richt is what they put in the newspapers and fluff pieces they air with chuck dowdle. If you don't think richt gets after it, cusses, gets fired up, gets pissed at people, etc..then you've basically told me all I need to know about your opinion on the man.

9-3 is about what I expect with possible losses to SC, Auburn, Clemson, Missouri and Florida. If we can win 3 out of those 5, we should go 10-2. If we get 2 out of 5, 9-3. If we have an unexpected lose, for instance to Tennessee, we could be looking at 8-4 again.

My rationale is that with a first year starter at QB and a depleted Secondary our offensive production might well be down and the defense will be susceptible to passing. Much depends on our OL run blocking and Mason playing like a Senior instead of a first year starter. If our Secondary can at least stay close to receivers and make sure tackles, we should be OK.

8 or 9 wins with losses to Carolina, AwBRuN, Missouri, and possibly Flarda.

I think/hope the front seven are improved over last year and the secondary really can't be any worse. I don't think.

The offense takes a step backwards though, and that offsets defensive improvement for a year about par with last.

Agreed, I know he gets pissed behind the scenes. Every coach does.

I see us losing at least 1 to 2 games some were along the way.
I can see us winning the SEC East this year.
Which I hope is true.
Im not going so far to say that we will win it all.
But I really hope Im wrong.

Richt's problem is he ain't the sharpest knife in the set..His time management skills still lack and hiring staff has been tossing darts at a dartboard..He's a great guy, but not the analytical type like Saban and Malzahn.

I predict us going 10-2. Who do we lose to? No idea, but i see this team dropping a couple. I hope I am wrong.

AU and USCe worry me the most. Arkansas, Mizzou, and UF give me shite pains.

if there is a God, we should beat Auburn this year.

USCe will be a loss probably...Our secondary is concerning, but its a down year for throwing QBs in this league so I dont think that will hurt us. I could see us losing in J-ville, too. I'll say regular season record of 10-2.

I don't care how pissed off and fired up you think he is or how much you "know the man". What I do care about is his lack of ability to take a team and motivate them to work hard, dig deep and beat expectations. It is what it is ....

How many upsets does UGA have to be on the receiving end of for you to see that?

There's really no need to answer that now because this isn't the time of year for this. I'm sure we'll get a chance to continue this discussion during the season when we show up flat and lose to somebody unexpected.

Unlike last year there are so many unknown factors going into this season you can't safely anything between say 11-1 or 5-7.

How good has Pruitt gotten the D ready?
How healed are our injured guys?
How much more effective can HM be?
If the secondary is only half as good as they were last year we should be ok.
If we got a great O line and a great healthy back field then we should be ok regardless of HM.

11-1
We lose to SouCar.
SouCar goes to SECCG and loses.
We got to playoff as 2nd SEC team.

Definitely possible unless they just can't take (read: WON'T) 2 SEC teams.
