I was wondering the same thing. I know it was a two year clause but I'm not sure if it starts with his contract and then after two years he can leave. It would be awesome to stick it to Arkansas one more time.

Edit: Not going to happen. Time to put the pipe dream to rest.

Enos' new contract continues his non-compete clause with other SEC schools and calls for a buyout of $350,000 thru Feb. 15, 2018.

Plus, it would be nice to get the band back together with Enos and Pittman.

It's not what Herman was running at Ohio State either. This is his adaptation using the players he inherited at Houston. Innovative coaching. We needed that this year.

I suspect (gut feeling only) that Kirby still thinks a Chaney offense with the right personnel complemented by a Tucker/Smart defense with the right personnel will be a successful team. And quite honestly, I didn't think Chaney did a bad job today. There were several errant passes and drops that effected the outcome a lot more than Chaney's play calling. If Ridley would've caught that dropped ball early on and set up a TD or if Eason would've been on target on that (now) controversial second down throw, a lot of folks on here would be singing a different tune, IMO.

I am more worried about QB development under Chaney than I am his play calling, at least at the present time.

Bobo and Kirby are good friends. Bobo's seat has to be getting pretty warm. He could coach circles around Chaney and be a much better mentor to Eason. I bet you anything the thought has crossed Smart's and McGarity's mind. I bet with 5 kids and a deep love for GA and Athens, it probably has crossed Bobo's as well.

I think we would all love that but the best case senario for that is Bobo tanking next year and getting fired. I don't really see that happening.

People need to get the idea out of their head that Bobo will be coming back here anytime soon as an OC. He's not doing bad enough at CSU to be on the hot seat and he'd take another HC job before he went back to being a coordinator.

I haven't watched much of Colorado and have been zoning in and out of the Utah game so they may be too much spread for us but this guy is starting to catch my eye. An actual qb coach and everything

McGarity refused to give Bobo a salary close to what Grantham and several other SEC OCs were making. That's why Bobo left. He would have stayed until Richt retired had the AD showed him some respect.

I looked on a CSU messaging board a couple of weeks ago and the general vibe was they were pleased about the recruiting he was doing and were willing to be patient for him to get "his recruits" on board. (A novel concept.)

Not gonna get you fired quickly at a place like CSU. I've halfway paid attention to his recruiting and he's bringing in a lot of guys from the state of Ga, even picked up that former 5* WR from UT that got kicked off the team earlier in the year and a former Clemson WR that chose them over UGA. I have a feeling that a team full of guys from Ga and other southeastern states would do well against a MWC schedule.

Dude had 3 HC jobs before he had to become an OC again.

Bobo ain't leaving. His record isn't great but look at the numbers his offense has been putting up. Couple more years and he may have then competing pretty hard.

Don't know if he'd come, probably not.

Jonathan Smith, OC at Washington. Spent entire career in the NW. Been with Peterson, since 2012.

Washington is modern offense, but also the nd the ball tough as well. I think their maybe a good relationship with JE as well.

Good God, what game did you watch. All season I have sat in my chair and called Georgia's next play with pretty good accuracy. Think if I can do it that a good D coordinator can? Hell yes. Chaney has no clue how to run an offense.
