One day there is going to be a civil war on this board over the difference in opinion about the head coaching spot, and I want to be on team HRD and DGD when that time comes.

Remember that year we played A&M in the Independence Bowl? And the whole team had to spend the week of Christmas in fricking rainy arse freezing Shreveport? I'm kind of ashamed, kind of not to say that I wished that shitty bowl fate on them after they completely whiffed on the kickoff that nobody cared to catch with 2 minutes left in the 4th.

We are always on the losing end in such civil wars. But such is our conviction that we do battle even while armed with that knowledge.
It's not fun, really. I'd rather Richt prove me to be the dumbass that many believe me to be by "turning that corner" as many often claim he has.

Every year more people lose faith. It's like a bell curve.
The first part is the end of the season where we all are fresh with disappointment. We slowly get faith throughout the offseason and then we get a big win or recruit. Then it all goes back down hill. People usually gradually see their curve dissipate until this happenes

Did anybody else go to lookup Maryland's record this year by going to conference standings and not finding them in the ACC...then wondering where they went? That's how irrelevant Maryland is to me.

I say we go whole hog into meltdown or vindication. Bring on Louisville and let the chips fall where they may. Get busy living or get busy dying. Anarchy. Chaos theory. Let's blow up this haphazard Stanford model were trying to emulate and figure out what the hell we are as a program and a university: athletics leading academics or academics leading athletics. I have been rooting for a significan event to force change but, shite, at this point we have seen those moments come and go. They either do just enough to get by or patience, or complacency, sets in and saves them. You'd think something that awful would spur change...but it won't. It'd be just another embarrassment.

For whatever reason, the Music City bowl doesn't like us.
Bowls 2-8 are decided by SEC and the bowls not just by the bowls.
We are going to be Music City or Outback.
I would much prefer Music City.
1) Closer
2) Can spend my new years doing other things
3) Nashville is fun
