Agreed. Maybe these guys will stay healthy enough to get multiple back sets into play next season. If our line is worth a crap and our D improves at all Mason will be in a great situation.

I am a little nervous that Mason gets killed back there next year.

The shotgun should help him a bit keeping his eyes over the entire field.

But something tells me that we are going to have serious growing pains at tackle.

What else is new? UGA has had OL problems as long as I remember. It really must be the football equivalent of nuclear physics to maintain a consistent flow of OL players who are ready to replace outgoing players.

We sure as hell haven't been able to figure it out after decades of football.

Ever since the UFaag game, Bobo has run more Gun than anything. Unless he is in the red zone. We are in shotgun with Gurley most of the time. Go back and watch the film. Our best running/passing game has been from the I all year. The problem has been Gueley. He has not run well between the tackles since he got hurt. That's why we run/pass to him out of the gun more, we are trying to get him into space. If he could run between the tackles and not have more risk if being injured again, we would run him out of the I with more PA. Trust me here guys, a Gurley determines our offense in every way. I truly blame him for Murray being hurt. Why in the hell do you think Bobo has been letting Murray run the read option more as of late? It all starts with the running game for Bobo. It really always has. The run determines the pass period. Since he got hurt, the pass has determined the run.

On another note, TG has started to show his speed is back. His first run after the catch against Kentucky, was the second play of the game. Go back and watch the difference in straight line speed during that game compared to Florida. He would have scored 110% if the ankle was completely healed. He has his speed back, but he can't make his cuts yet. He would have made a cut and went right by the UK defenders at the end of his run if the ankle(S) were better.
