Yea but Zook had the stuff with the frat house too right? I mean Muschamp has to get fired after this year but i don't think he gets fired during the season unless something else comes up off the field.

Could definitely be wrong though.

Replace a former DC in his first stint as HC with a less experienced DC for his first stint at HC?

They'll do all they can to bring in a HC like Briles or Mullen. Then worst case go after Hudspeth or maybe a top name coordinator like Smart or Morris.

Didn't he have two of his own guys fighting each other over a theft accusation? That's pretty terrible.

Yea I think so. They'll start looking for whatever they can. Last week fans were blasting him over how they handled the injured player saying it was a reason to fire him. It is a weird situation because, like Hoke, he's basically a dead man walking.

Florida is a different team with Treon Harris. If Muschamp doesn't get the ax, Driskel certainly will.

They have a pretty low recruiting ranking across the board too. This will be a long process for them.

I'm happy today

and UF won't hire another DC, probably not even Kirby

Agree. And I see absolutely no way they go for Smart. It'll be an offensive coach. And I wouldn't be shocked if they get this hire right unfortunately...

Mullen will mimic Malzahn and return to his ol' stompin' grounds IMO.

No they will go on the O side of the ball -

Spurrier - O good
Zook - D bad
Myer - O good
Muschamp - D bad

That OC should have stayed at Duke, new HC will be offensive guy and will have his own folks. But he had to know it was high risk going in.

I would be delighted if they got Kiffen, he is as full of shite as a Christmas turkey.

Own up, how many wanted him as HC?

I cant remember anyone wanting him as HC, but definitely as a DC.

That said, Muschamp fricked up by taking a gig in an impossibly hopeless situation. He was a DC going to an offensive minded school where the cupboard is basically barren for the O-Coordinators he brought in.

Meyer left for a reason.

Muschamp would have had more success at a smaller institution with less expecttations, building up a résumé. He may never be a HC again...

This is a worst-case scenario for us. Everyone celebrating Muschamp's demise would do well to think on this...
