OT: Prominent Athens Businessman Passes Away Late Saturday

Thomas Hinson, owner of the former George Gibson's on Baxter, passed away Saturday night from cardiac arrest (heart attack). I was fortunate enough to have met him during my time in Athens. He was only 35.

Sad and scary at the same time. I knew Thomas well. We're the same age and I know it was pre-existing but shite.

If he did, he never talked about it. I just knew he had a "heart condition." I never pryed.

WOW, bought several items there, met him once. Very affable. Sad, so young RIP.
