not my point but whatever.
Then what is your point?
You gonna elect Ron Paul and usher in the new golden age of libertarian navel gazer utopia?
Ha!
That's the problem with him. He taught hundreds of thousands of navel gazers to believe that the pathway to Freedom goes through the swamp called Washington DC....
What a sad load of horseshite.

He is about the least qualified possible candidate ever. He is about as loony as they come. I have nothing against the man but you couldn't pay me to vote for him.

“I don't vote. Two reasons. First of all it's meaningless; this country was bought and sold a long time ago. The shite they shovel around every 4 years *pfff* doesn't mean a fricking thing. Secondly, I believe if you vote, you have no right to complain. People like to twist that around – they say, 'If you don't vote, you have no right to complain', but where's the logic in that? If you vote and you elect dishonest, incompetent people into office who screw everything up, you are responsible for what they have done. You caused the problem; you voted them in; you have no right to complain. I, on the other hand, who did not vote, who in fact did not even leave the house on election day, am in no way responsible for what these people have done and have every right to complain about the mess you created that I had nothing to do with.”

I love George Carlin
And I am disappointed this is on this board when there are more important things to be discussed

You shouldn't be allowed to vote unless you qualify to pay federal income taxes...OR are a property owner for a number of years.
Most people are too stupid to be burdened by with a system of self governance....they need leaders that will tell them to what to do and take care of them...like parents.
The current system is a failure. When the Supreme Court ceded their responsibility to enforce the constitution and protect us from invasive laws and regulations we were done for. It's just a matter or time now without a hard reset.

The system became a sham when the supreme court became a political ideology arm of politicians. When you know exactly how each and every person on the supreme court will vote. You have a problem.

The states giving up their power to appoint Senators in lieu of having them elected was one of the stupidest things ever And a big turning point IMO.

I was surprised with the attitude that the supremes weren't there to protect us from the laws passed by our elected officials. This was an underlying theme of his decision if I remember correctly.
I thought this was precisely their role ... silly me.
