re: OT: Dallas Police Shootings

Pulled over by a female deputy on an ATV, with lights flashing, siren screaming after I had "Slow rolled" through a stop sign. I'll admit, my attitude at that point was WTF?

I put on my blinker and turned into a parking lot. I watched her approach me from the rear view mirror. She was wearing patent leather knee high boots. A uniform with so much starch, I wondered how she could move.

"Licence and registration". That's all she said.

When I pulled out my wallet to extract my drivers licence she noticed my Georgia firearms licence.

She stepped back, unclasped the top holster clasp of her Glock and asked me, "Do you have a firearm in your vehicle".

Uh, yeah.

"May I see it"?

Pulled it out of the console, ejected the clip, pulled the slide to show an open chamber and handed it to her.

Her reply. "Did you know that you just made an illegal right turn at that intersection'?

She handed me my pistol back.

I was irate, frick that bitch.

I don't support or condone what has been going on.

I do understand it.

I smell bullcrap. No cop in this country is gonna let you pull your firearm out and manipulate it in front of them.
