I know, csb.

If I had to pick a restaurant that I think represents GA, I would choose the Bulloch House.
Located in Warm Springs Ga, which is also home of the Little White House.

It is a country buffet that is most popular on sundays after church. It is the one place in GA I would recommend everyone to go.

What is that one restaurant in GA that yall think best represents our state?

Will add another one for the west side.
I have this one on my favs that represent GA more for their drink.
But The River House in Savannah.

But mainly because this became one of my favorite drinks.

The Chatham Artillery Punch. The first couple of sips, hated it. Then I drank more...and drank more...and ordered a second, and fell in love.

Blue Willow Inn gets my vote. Although I would always eat at Hudsons or Wallace's BBQ if I had to chose.

I worked at Hudson's in High School in D'ville '71-'72. Then worked for his brother Aaron at NAPA in '73-'74...

Have you tried the BBQ at Turners Store offa Thornton Rd.? Very good, Google it...

It's called Beaver Creek Biscuit Company and Barbecue ...

These are the kinds of places I love best.
Just some great food from some shack looking places.
That fish in the 2nd pic looks amazing too.
Where is this at?

Chatham Artillery Punch Recipe...

12 lemons

1 pound superfine sugar

750-milliliter bottle bourbon or rye

750-milliliter bottle Cognac

750-milliliter bottle dark Jamaican rum

3 bottles Champagne or other sparkling wine

Nutmeg.

1. Squeeze and strain the lemons to make 16 ounces of juice. Peel the lemons and muddle the peels with the sugar. Let the peels and sugar sit for an hour, then muddle again. Add the lemon juice and stir until sugar has dissolved. Strain out the peels.

2. Fill a 2- to 3-gallon bucket or bowl with crushed ice or ice cubes. Add the lemon-sugar mixture and the bourbon, Cognac and rum. Stir and add the Champagne. Taste and adjust for sweetness. Grate nutmeg over the top and serve.

Yield: About 25 drinks.

The best part of the drink was the fruit in it. Just letting it sit, then after drinking the whole thing eating the fruit that was just soaking in the liquor.
