Does anyone have any good eggs benedict recipes for BGE? Mine have always been missing that ash and soot flavor that would make it the best eggs benedict of all time.

Breakfast at Brennan's in New Orleans. We're taking the Crescent down there in April. First morning will be breakfast at Brennan's, brunch/lunch at The Court Of The Two Sisters, and dinner at Antoine's. All this because it will be my Sweethearts first trip to New Orleans.

If you have ash and soot flavor on your food while cooking on any smoker, you need to clean up your gear.

We should turn this thread into a place for people to post pics of their creations on the BGE. For discussion on methods and tips and stuff

Not just to create fellowship among egg owners and for good clean fun or to maybe tempt those thinking about getting one.... but also because like clockwork, it would cause XeroxRig9 to immediately copy our thread in another form like he does with everything else and it would be hilarious. Lololol!

Too fricking easy

And for my next trick..... I shall make him shamelessly ripoff and copy entire thread concepts! Wait....Ive already done that trick many many times.

Hmmm

How about for my next trick!.... I shall get him to repeat entire phrases! Wait... nope..... done that one already 100 times too

Ive got it!Hang on. This will be good. You’ll see

It may have worked like a charm, still not happy about it. I’ll have to watch UGA games at like 3 AM on Sunday my time.

Huge BGE fan here. Use it several times a week, have done everything from the normal Pork Butts, Beer Can Chicken, Pizza, Smoke Turkey, ribs, etc. We have even done that Cinnamon Bread you get at Dolly Wood on there (Recipe is on the web)

Highly recommend you spring for the half moon steel grate. Get you a Grade A tomahawk steak. Reverse sear it on that thing. YOur life will never be the same.

So according to the web site you never use charcoal briquettes in a BGE? I’m not talking match lite here - but legit charcoal?

I use a cast iron skillet for the sear. Same concept? Maybe the grate has some slits or holes that I don't

You’ve made some very bold statements in this thread coming from a man who cooks with Kingsford charcoal on a table top grill.
