I'm in Sanibel island for the week caught a two foot stingray and three 1/2 pound salt cats tonight from the beach. Buddy sent me a pick of his 8 point he got yesterday.

Post pics tomorrow, I'm drunk and tired at the moment and smell like bait...

Duck season opens Sat. Maybe I'll have a few quackers/honkers on the tailgate to post.

Haven't seen the first migratory bird this year. The local popcorn eaters are around though. They eat good too.

Got a few woodies in the woodie hole but that's about it. It'll be fast and furious shooting for about......4 minutes.

We'll wait for the geese to come, maybe scratch out two or three, load up the decoys and the dog, and then be at the Awful Waffle by 9 AM.

Yea I have a great friend who has a great impoundment we worked on and it is wood duck heaven. In NC the middle season came in last Saturday for a few weeks and then goes back out and in one last time. Haven't seen very many migratory birds if any. Went Saturday to another place Because friend was out of town and had ten on the water when we got there in the dark and they left and never came back.

Yeah, I think it's going to be really slow this opener for sure. Last opener we killed woodies and green wing teal but I think it got colder earlier last year.

The heat is really throwing my hunting off... Deer aren't moving as much even though it's the rut and birds haven't been moving down its much warmer this year than last.

Last year on Halloween it snowed up here but not this year.
