Between injuries, attrition, graudation, suspension, and failing to seize opportunities I would bet a Coca-Cola right now that we don't finish better than second in the SEC East in 2016. The rest of the conference has simply caught up with and passed us.

You do realize that the schedules work out the same for every East team over a 14 year cycle right? Except we play Auburn every year so it's generally tougher than everyone except UF and Tennessee.

You're also being just a little dramatic saying the rest of the conference has caught up with and passed us. We have the second best recruiting class in the SEC, 1st in the East, and beat the East champ this year 34-0. You're probably sold on Tennnessee who hasn't even surpassed a .500 record since 2009 when they went 7-6. Yes, some teams look to be improving, but it's not like we are the Vandy of the conference or anything.
