“Chubb came into the huddle, and that’s the first time that he screamed at everybody,” senior receiver Malcolm Mitchell said during a postgame interview on the Georgia Bulldogs Radion Network. “At one time at least.”

Asked what it was Chubb said, Mitchell chuckled: “Get it together!”

That in itself motivated me to go out there and block in the run game. I’m going, ‘all right, he doesn’t get like that often. He’s fixin’ to break a long one!’ He doesn’t same much. Game day he just plays football. But when he spoke up I was like, ‘all right, it’s about to get serious out here.’”

It did get serious indeed. Here’s what happened after the Bulldogs clapped in unison and broke that huddle:

Chubb over right tackle – 11 yards;
Chubb over left tackle – 13 yards;
Chubb around left end – 11 yards;
Greyson Lambert play-action pass to Mitchell – 11 yards (plus facemask penalty);
Chubb up middle – 9 yards and touchdown!
Five plays, 65 yards, one minute and 34 seconds later, the rout was on.

A mini Shawn Williams-esque motivation.

That is awesome. I love how Chubb just goes out there and does his thing. Scores, talks zero trash, and hands the ball to the ref. That being said, if he were to score a big TD against Bama this week I would love to see him do a Heisman pose or something.

He should just pull out four fishing nets and stare directly into the camera

Agree, Would prefer jazz hands If anything, but nick is all biz, so it's ball to the ref and jog off the field, which suits him well.

Speaking of Williams, he's behind Reggie Nelson at FS. He must of really improved his ball skills.

I'm sad that he had to GATA. What the frick were they doing out there if not trying their best to block for their teamate. They better be awake and do their GD job on evey snap this Saturday.

This speech will be carved in marble one day under the Chubb statue!

Will be a pretty quick and easy job for the engraver too..

You can't be sure about that.

Sets him up nicely for a Kaopectate endorsement, too.
