They should be options 1A and 1B in the offense next season with a 2nd year in the system.

Believe it or not, but this is a tough system for a year 1 WR.

Year 2? They should be able to earn high draft pick status.

I know. We are likely losing 3 safeties that have started and/or played significant snaps. Bullard, Tykee Smith, and Dan Jackson. There are not many other options currently on the team.

Where is Blaske going? Why would he leave before ever getting meaningful snaps?

He walked last Saturday for Senior Day

With all the talk about how well CJ Allen and Raylen Wilson have progressed, has anyone heard anything about Troy Bowles? He was part of that group in last year’s ILB recruiting haul, but I haven’t heard anything about him this year.

Any chance we pick up any top players from Texas A&M through the portal?

Sofl thinks he's gone.

He's already been here 4 years. He doesn't owe us a 5th. The 5th would be solely to improve his draft stock.

He's got an opportunity the next 5 games to push his game into a guaranteed first round spot.
All eyes will be on UGA.

I think he will most likely earn that draft spot (which is good for our playoff success).

According to his dad, Beck is gone.

Blaske walked with the Seniors Saturday…gone.

Allen is better than Pop. Pop will play but I think Allen takes the job.

I don’t believe Sorey is with the team now and won’t be next year.

Jarrett may start but you’d think he’d be getting meaningful pt now if he was expected to start next year.

I agree with your statement on DDS but hope Kirby finds a replacement from the youngsters or the portal. DDS ain’t him.

Beck is projected as a tier 2 QB so I guess than means 2nd or 3rd round. I would expect he wants to come back and bolster his draft status.

He asked not to be honored at Senior Day so seems weird to do that of its already a forgone conclusion you're leaving.

Allen is a better athlete than pop. Thus, the ceiling is higher.

I disagree that Allen is an upgrade over pop today.
And there are elite traits for JDJ (bend/agility on blitz) that I would not expect Allen to match (he's young and I haven't seen much of him. But it is difficult to assume elite traits on a freshman)

so seems weird

We are talking about if he stays or goes.

What do you think happens to the volume and frequency of that discussion if he walked?

Edit to add: he is focusing on the vols. That is where he wants his focus

Kirby needs to get Pittboss back in the fold if he gets let go at Arky...

ETA: Searles has done a good job but CSP takes Ol's and OL recruiting to the next level.

Off subject but surprised to see Pittman's stock drop at Arkansas. His first year he was considered the next coming. I'm sure he has a huge buyout and would probably consider retiring.

Yep, that's what I should've said. After another Spring and Fall in the program I think that is enough to get him the starting nod next year. If Smael goes pro, then Pop will still be starting, just next to Allen.

Bowers at TE, Beck at QB.

Bowers doesn't get an NIL, does he? I think he has his own deals.
Jahmyr Gibbs, at #10 in Round 1, signed for over $17M. His signing bonus was almost $10M. Brock will likely go earlier that that.

I hope Kyle Pitts being a bust doesn't scare teams off of taking a tight end in the top 5-10. Bowers is infinitely better than Pitts ever was in college, but tight end is one of the hardest positions to transition from college to the NFL. It usually takes them a few years.

He’s very very close to being over the edge into bust territory. Our seemingly lesser TE outplay him often. To be fair though also he’s had complete dog shite qb play. He’s a style of player like Brock just not in the same level. Meaning he should be fed the ball. We drafted him but didn’t put the he proper support around him to use him
