Soon being around 2019 or so. If Cheney is cut for another OC who are some good candidates right now? I honestly think Dell McGee could be a good OC if he's properly groomed for the job. That being said, what was the running game like at Georgia Southern? Fast and up tempo? Big in the trenches, smash mouth football? And what kind of influence did he have on play calling?

Love Dell McGee but not for OC. Don't think he's ever called plays and the RB coach usually isn't getting groomed for that. I think he likely skips a step and goes to be a HC at a group of 5 school in the next 2-3 years.

An OC hire would come from outside as of now imo.

I want Hugh Freeze, but I want more holy tweets though.

I think both would be a good fit.

Freeze's offense is the one that whipped Kirby's Bama defense two years in a row. And followed it up by whipping Kirby's Georgia defense last year.

Get that son of a bitch on staff.

If Colorado State sucks enough, they may fire Bobo and we could get him back

Hugh Freeze is a NCAA sanction waiting to happen. No thanks. Besides, Cheney is not going anywhere unless our offense is a complete disaster this year.

It's called common sense, or were you born yesterday? Look at where Ole Miss is. He was front and center of that entire mess.

Well obviously this post was made before anyone had a clue that Freeze was cheating on his wife with prostitutes. He's still a great OC.
