Obviously this is extremely subjective and not even a real thing, but for whatever it's worth I'd go with...

• Charley Trippi

• Herschel Walker

• David Pollack

• Brock Bowers

...Again it's all subjective, but I subtracted points for players who played on teams that weren't that great, even if it wasn't there fault that the team wasn't all that great.

I agree with this.

Could Go Pollack as a 3x first team All-American.
Champ is also a great answer.
A case can certainly be made for Stet.
Bowers may be the single greatest football player at any position we have ever had.
Chubb certainly could argue.

There is a loooooong list of good choices, but WG is right, 2 Heismans and a Maxwell award winner. They have to be there.

I think this the right take. Sucks to leave Pollack off but gotta have one of the olds. Herschel is a lock. Kirby for sure deserves it and Stet had the nuts to stomp out decades of bad juju and then dragged his nuts through the SEC again for a victory lap.

It’s Stetson 4 times.

Pollack is a big one for fans around my age because I grew up in the 90s when we missed the SECCG every year and it was awful. Pollack was the best player and the heart and soul of the Georgia team that broke the SEC championship drought.

And also Pollack is one of the 2 or 3 best defensive players for Georgia ever and I had to throw a defensive player on there.

Anybody who thinks that Pollack just had all of the stereotypical white guy traits – high motor, coach on the field, etc. – wasn't paying attention. Pollack had the quickest first step, the best leverage and the strongest hands ever. Pollack was a freak!

Hard to argue those 3 when thinking of the history of UGA football. Also tough to decide not putting a coach on there too. Honestly, too many players contributed over the last few years to put one on there, so have to think Kirby takes that spot as the only General to lead his troops to 2 National Championships in a true national championship era

Pollack is also the only 3x All-American in our history besides Herschel.

Kirby has to be on there. So it comes down to Stet and Pollack for me. If Stet had game managed his way to those two national championships, I could see giving Pollack the nod, but Stetson was as clutch as clutch can be in the playoffs.

Pollack was the better player but Stetson was way more impactful to our program.

I think this is the correct combo, though if we're talking about playing impact, then I would give Trippi Kirby's spot and go ve Smart his own Crazy Horse whole-mountain monument to himself.
