I love watching this before every season. He is a DGD and will always be the number 1 fan in my book. I know he's had some health issues but I hope he gets to see the Smart Era begin in the Dome

Is his health really that bad now? I didn't think he was that old? Kinda weird he's our "superfan", but he's a great guy it seems like.

I always laugh at the 2012 Malcolm Mitchell touchdown vs UF where the camera showed him for a brief second randomly bear hugging that young girl in front of him just for how raw his emotions were.

Did the UGA Joker guy graduate yet? His schtick was getting old quick.

I think joker still there with the spike squad. Surprised no one has tried the head painting. But I guess the spike squad is the modern day big dawg

I think the Joker in the Spike Squad graduated and passed his character on to another guy. I might be mistaken. I know he had his own Twitter account, at one point.

Well he's about 60-80 pounds over weight. That's never good for your health.

Having never met the man he looks like he's about 5'10" and 240 lbs tops. If he weighed 80 less lbs we would be 160. That's a triathlete or a cancer patient.

Thanks for being an a-hole. Everybody needs cancer right?

Nah he's a senior right now. I got some mutual friends who know/knew him.

ideal body weight

Obviously there are other factors than just height and frame size, but the ideal weight for a 5'10" male is somewhere between 150-180. If he's 240, then losing 60-80 pounds would put him just within that range.

I wasn't being an a-hole but rather pointing out that obesity creates and exacerbates many heath issues.

And the fact that you think 160-180 pounds is an unhealthy weight for a 5'10 male is exactly why our country is suffering from a obesity crisis.

We met Mike in Colorado. Very nice guy. He can be a little garish (sp), but I enjoyed meeting him. Big frame, but not a fat arse and a bit taller than me. He might be 5'11", but certainly no taller. He had a massive heart attack either last year, or early this year. Last thing I think I heard was that he had to have by-pass surgery. Haven't heard anything since.

This. Pretty sure the original guy graduated the year he won the Superfan contest or whatever it was.

You ain't wrong. I know a few 6'0 to 6'2 types in the 180-190 range and that is pretty normal.

Met his son. It's a family tradition. His son will take over for Big Dawg when he can't do it any longer. So the tradition will stay in place.
