Fired with cause due to fake death threats.

This is just nuts. WTF do the Fl people expect when you have 7 players suspended? I have no love for FL but no way I'd fire a guy after 3 years under these circumstances...especially after making the SECCG twice.

Yah but the East was way down, recruiting had tanked, he wasn't very charismatic, and he was brought in the fix the offense and failed.

It’s just weird hearing you take up for a coach of another program that backed his way into his east championships and got slaughtered in ATL both times. When you held the exact opposite view for Georgia’s guy. Who did even better.

McElwain is on his 3rd year and was in the SECCG 2 of those three. Richt got us to the same game 2 times in the last 10 seasons of his tenure - after being an established coach.
I'm all for giving a guy enough time to get his legs underneath him in a new role. As I did last year with Smart when you were giving him shite.

I think they are more upset about the way he is representing the program and that he isn’t fixing the problems he was brought into fix.
More specifically, a picture of you naked and humping a shark is not something that will portray a positive image of you...regardless of if it’s you or a look-a-like.
And accusing Manti Teo’s gf of death threats doesn’t help that image any further.
