Friend of mine's girlfriend cuts UTC coach's hair. He told her awhile back that Ladd was coming to UTC before he got the Georgia offer. Also people i talked to around here think "White Lightning" is better than "Moonshine" for a nickname fwiw.

Dalton High when I went there. Benji was a class behind me.

I didn’t go to Dalton High but let’s just say I cut my gaming teeth at the TimeOut in Walnut Square in the mid 80’s.

The nfl is seeing the same thing with teams like kc winning with smaller recievers.

Reality is there are a lot more uber gifted "small WR's" than there are AG Green/ Julio/ Megatron's. That's why so many NFL WR's didn't go to UGA/ LSU/ Bama/ USC/ ND etc....

They go hand in hand, and I will allow it. I also coined that one in the same thread I coined Moonshine.

"Moonshine McConkey with another load of White Lightning for 23 yards and another Scana Energy First Down!"

It all works.

UT was his dream school growing up. Guess no one's perfect.

One of the coolest things about Time Out was Jerry, the attendant/coin changer guy. He'd do magic tricks with the quarters, on request.

The pinnacle of ultimate birthday parties in Dalton was one at Funway USA, all the machines unlocked for an hour, then pizza from Godfather's next door brought in.

Used to go over there a good bit as a kid myself. Average complexion of the mall clientele really took a turn in the early 90s.

He gained a ton of yards rushing in hs. I'd like to see more designed run plays for him like we did against Vanderbilt. And why not try a flea flicker?

But Dalton High's Soccer team started kicking arse, so there's that, I suppose.
