Hutson Mason:
140/203 - 69.0% - 1515YDS - 7.46 - 15TD/3INT - 153.1RAT

Nick Marshall:
114/187 - 61.0% - 1576YDS - 8.43 - 14TD/4INT - 152.2RAT

Hutson is the better passing quarterback at this point in the season.

Who gives a shite about rushing stats for Mason. When you have Gurley, Chubb, and Michel I don't want to see Mason running the ball.

The reason that Marshall is effective is two fold; he can throw the football a mile and he's fast and elusive. Defenses can't play close because if a receiver gets behind the secondary, Marshall can throw it downfield from just about any position or on the move. Which means linebackers and linemen are left to try and corral Marshall if he decides to run. Throw in Malzahn's run game misdirection and it makes them very hard to defend.

Plus, despite all the joking about his intellect, NM has been able to learn Auburn's offense pretty well and he doesn't seem to get easily rattled. He's not the most accurate qb around, but he's a good fit for Malzahn. I'm hoping our fast OLB'ers can hold his rushing yards in check.

Mason takes care of the ball better than Marshall. Look for UGA to win both the turn over margin and the game.

DGD Gurley is off the leash. Go Dawgs.
