I agree with Squatch, UGA looked like a Pop Warner team getting blown out that day and they all looked high as hell on the field and confused. There is no excuse for not havign your team ready for a fricking Gameday game.

From last year's samsonsseed on another website as "big dollar"

They got whipped on the line of scrimmage.

This has to rank up there with some of Richt's worse losses of his career.

I rank it 2nd. Here's my top ten worst losses of Richt's career.

1. 2008 Florida game. A 48-17 blowout when the Dawgs started the season ranked first.

2. 2012 South Carolina game. Averaging over 40 points a game but couldn't score against the first team defense and the game was over by the middle of the first quarter.

3. 2009 Tennessee game. A 41-19 blowout against a mediocre team coached by a rookie.

4. 2009 Florida game. Dawgs get manhandled again.

5. 2010 Central Florida game. I will never forgive Richt for losing to O'Liar.

6. 2008 Alabama game. Georgia has never recovered from this fiasco.

7. 2003 SEC championship game.

8. 2011 SEC championship game. At least the defense was outstanding for 1 half.

9. 2006 Tennessee game. Couldn't stop UT's offense for 3 quarters.

10. 2006 Vanderbilt game. Lose to Vandy? Disgraceful.

Look, Richt can make them better men, or he can prepare for games. Not enough hours in the day for both. So he goes with the priority, rather than the paycheck.

Surprised no one mentioned his first AU game (I think 1st?) where he punted w/ like 1:50 left and behind.

It worked though, the defense held and we had a chance to win at the end.

My definition of a bad loss is a game we either a)have absolutely no business losing or b)get completely blown off the field and look like we don't even belong.

Some of the losses mentioned like Mich State, WVU, missouri, etc don't fit either of those criteria. No I'm not rationalizing the losses away, all losses suck. But um..not sure if yall have noticed but missouri is in the top frickin 5 and undefeated. And, whether you want to admit or not, injuries played a massive role in that loss.

When I think of games that fit my criteria above, some that instantly come to mind are central florida, 06 vanderbilt, 06 kentucky, 09 kentucky, 12 SC, 08 and 09 UF, 07 and 09 UT. I don't feel like organizing a legit list but those games are flat out inexcusable.
