As much a fan of UGA as I am, if Richt were to get canned, I kind of hope we do end up like a Texas. Just to shut all these stupid frickers up. The level of stupid in this board is ridiculous.

So many Richt fans, not enough UGA fans.

Honestly it's that simple.

I put UGA at 9 - 3 preseason. Wanna know what I think about next year, 9 - 3 or 8 -4. Doesn't mean I should be happy or content with it, that is just how Richt rolls.

The question is are you happy with that or not? You are. Many aren't.

And to make it worse you are in the camp of the afraid. The don't make a change, it would be worse camp.

Follow that logic and Shula would still be at Bama, Zook at Florida, and Hoke at Michigan. The term "hot seat" would not in in our lexicon.

And to a degree the campers in the camp of the afraid are correct. It could be worse. But it also could be better.

There are some that believe the football program could be and should be one of the best in the nation, but don't believe that can be attained with Richt. Count me in that camp.

I know that was directed as SS and not me...but can you link where he said he was happy with that?

Bc I don't know a single person ever in history who has said that they're "happy" wiht 8-4/9-3. Yet for some reason you ilk seems to think half our fans are ecstatic with 9 wins.

Don't think happy or not is the right way to look at it. Either you are willing to go to the end of the earth defending it or you are not. We know exactly which camp you are in.

playing 20-30 freshmen in a season

Been weighing this all season. Has anyone done the analysis of how many Fr players we've played on avg in recent years? How new is the approach by CMR & Co? Could it be that we're trying to give our uber-talented freshmen (TT, Godwin, etc...) a load of experience so when Big Ben, SkinnyQB and others make it to Athens we're on a trajectory timed to be elite by their sophomore year? Do the best we can but willing to sacrifice a little bit of this season with a lot of questions anyway (QB, new OC, DC yr#2 not a full recruiting cycle with them, etc) to setup later seasons trying to get to the next level? Do you think they even think that far ahead?

I mean if we're barely hanging on to "pretty good" playing a this many freshmen, what will we look like in 2017 when these guys are Jrs? Is our recruiting in the trenches improving to build a new foundation? Plus, #27 will probably be in that backfield assuming he recovers back to 100%.

That is pretty much the expectation for A Richt team, 8 4 to 10 - 2 with an occasional peek above and below that range. So, if you are defending Richt that means you like Richt and his results, ergo you are happy with those results.

I would lean towards him not ever playing at UGA again.

Lol at trying to make Texas' situation seem better than ours at this point in time.

We played in the fricking Belk Bowl last year and are looking at the fricking Tax Slayer bowl this. Who gives a frick if we turn into Texas? They were in a shitty bowl last year also and will be in another one this year. They have a national title since we do....and they just won a game they should have lost. I would much rather be Texas than UGA....I will bet you a coke that Texas plays in the play offs before we do. That is a sucker bet because their schedule is easier when they are pretty decent and their conference is easier. I would also bet a coke that they would beat us pretty easily this year and they would outcoach us also...so yeah, ending up like Texas scares the shite out of no one....

Chubb will be back. He doesn’t have nerve damage, so he’ll be just fine.

A lot of medical folks unsolicited comments were that he was not going to be back until 2017 and by then he may as well declare for the draft

Sounds like something an alter would say...I am on to you, spaceman. If that IS your real name...
