He did not. But there may be reasons other than coming back that could have prompted him to abstain.
He could turn pro and maybe hasn’t finished his degree, so didn’t want to participate.

Convo between his team and Kirby should be happening today or tomorrow. Should know what he is going to do soon.
Kirby said today that portal guys are announcing tomorrow. Says he's not worried about opt outs beyond the guys in the portal. Has a good core who will want to play.

Lovett, Thomas, and Bell. We need those 3 guys bigly. Hopefully they return. Ladd would be the cherry on top but O don’t expect to see him again. Really interested in seeing the young TE’s and this Anthony Evans kid. That dude on a kickoff yesterday looked faster than anyone I’ve seen at UGA in years. Hopefully he gets many snaps against FSU.

I like Beck, but won't be upset if he opts out. In today's game you have to have a dual threat QB.

If you are in any way insinuating you’d rather see BVG or Stockton (at this exact stage in their careers) instead of Beck, I have no words.

Instead of Tyler Williams put Arian Smith and add Xavian Sorey and CJ Madden.

Hopefully we will be active in the portal market. We are losing a ton on offense and if Beck hits the NFL we have no proven Qb although the guys we have were highly ranked prospects.
QBs on the market
I really like this guy named Matthew Sluka from Holy Cross - Has wheels and moxy like Stetson Bennett.
We could also use a RB - assuming one of the freshman coming in would also play alot.
Next year looks like a rebuild for sure.

There is no way in hell we bring in a portal QB to start over either BVG or Stockton. I expect Stockton to win the job.

Look for WRs and D-Linemen. Not sure how many great OTs you cam expect from the portal.
They're not looking for a QB with 2 of the top 10 from 2024 joining a room with other top 10 guys from 23' and 22'already competing.
