Used to be a Raider fan when Stabler had Fred Biletnikoff & Dave Casper to throw to.

Loved the "Snake". Tough as nails and a great leader too.

He was tough as nails on the field. He ran for a 53 yard TD to beat Auburn in the 1967 Iron Bowl. Ran like a 3 legged cow.
Saw him holding court in a bar in Gulf Shores about 4 years ago.

Thanks to Lamonica and Stabler I was a big Raiders fan when those guys were playing. My best friend was a Dolphin fan so it was sweet when Stabler hit Casper in the end zone to clinch an AFC championship leading to a SuperBowl win.
Alabama had a couple of great ones in Namath and Stabler.
