I was thinking something similar yesterday on my drive from ATL to Athens, listening to all the talk about assistants leaving successful programs.
Grantham doesn't seem like the kind of person who wants to be a career guy at a college that he has no personal connection to. He is 1 or 2 good seasons from moving on.
Secondly, I think he's starting to realize it's more difficult to play a 3-4 in college where you lose half of your starting roster every year, so you are constantly rebuilding, whereas in the NFL you build your team and run with it. I think he might be getting "sick of this shite" trying to woo mommy's and teenagers to come play for his team.
It wouldn't surprise me if he has already called it quits but is waiting for signing day as a professional courtesy to Richt. Many openings in the NFL right now, paying more than what he's making in Athens.

Again, you wouldn't be happy with any team since no one went undefeated and won a natty. Poor dru

Again. Three hundred and fifty eight yards.

Tres cientos cincuenta y ocho.
No me gusta. Es muy muy mal.

We were four yards away from playing in Miami and you're still bitching?

Reasonable perspective. I guess it depends on CTG's attitude related to the NFL vs the college environment. There are definitely pros and cons both ways. One thing for sure, if our run defense doesn't improve over the next few years, I'm going to be ready for a DC change. I can understand giving up a lot of rushing yards to a premium team like Bama or against a freak like JFF but we yielded 206 yards rushing to Kentucky for heavens sake.

Really? How bout UT scoring 40+ on us? How bout BUFFALO gashing our defense? We gave up 27 ppg to ranked opponents and finished 78th in rushing defense...nuff said...CTG can't leave soon enough.

Do you not understand a weak your argument is when you think a single fricking game constitutes a trend?

You don't like anything about this team so why even follow them.

No one wants to bring in a new D coordinator, they don't grow on trees. Remember when we all thought Kirby was coming and we got CTG. Kiffin is their D cord, I believe.

By the way, they hired Monty yesterday so it's a moot point. Grantham not going to Cowboys.
