Whats to understand. Life is shite for some people

Just meaning that "god" is not equally kind to us all by a long shot. If i was born in haiti, as soon as i was old enough, i would crawl into the bush and slap a lion across his fricking face. If i was that baby elton john and that dude adopted i would climb into the piano and close the lid

Suicide isnt always some mental illness people have to make it out to cope with the loss

You have to be pretty fricking messed up to kill yourself. Thats not a decision taken lightly. You can be guaranteed there was a reason....depression...drugs...emotional trauma...mental disability...something. No one kills themselves just because life occasionally sucks or we'd all be dead.

And no you wouldn't kill yourself over those conditions because you wouldn't know any different. Its easy to say you would now, because you know how sweet life is when your not living in mud buildings or being the son of a gay couple.

end of story, you don't have to be messed up in the head...it happens all the time after divorce, family death, financial misfortunes...heck, I can't sit here and say that I haven't thought about it before when life has felt bad enough. It's just the grace of God I haven't or didn't.

Nevertheless, this sucks, prayers sent for the family. RIP Paul Oliver

It's very sad news. I went to high school with him. Definitely one of those guys I was jealous of due to his freak athletic abilities. Makes you wonder what could have been so bad. On the surface he was living the life most sports fans could only dream of.

You shitting me clark? you think those pot bellied kids with aids and flies landing on their face dont know they caught a cosmic dick? they may not have cable tv but im pretty sure when the white college kids show up wearing nautica t shirts and cry as soon as they look at you then you know somethings up

And im not getting into bennie and the jets. I just personally believe even babies know that shite is fricked up

The point is, im sure its rarely that life is occasionally shitty. Dude was a baller and obviously knew how to give and take licks. But who knows what personal tragedies he lived with. I dont call people cowards like alot of folks when theyre tired of dealing with wtf ever they cant deal with anymore

They say god wont give you more than you can handle. bull fricking crap. obviously he does. because hes a prick honestly

Y'all don't let those balls go and get all out of place.

"I" personally can't understand what leads to suicide. Doesn't mean I can't see around me that folks suffer.

I don't call him a coward for looking for a way out. Like you said, nobody knows what kinds of personal demons were present in his life. If you don't have family/loved ones fine, go kill yourself I have no problem whatsoever with the actual act. However, I think that it makes you a straight up bitch to put your family/ loved ones in a position like this. If you have a support structure in place and people that legitimately care about you and your well being and still choose to do away with yourself you are nothing short of a selfish dick. I know this is not PC at all but I really don't care, it's how I have always felt.

If you dont have kids or a dog, you dont owe anyone shite. And even then, in some cases your doing the kids and pets a service

Im not joking even a small amount when i say if my ex wife jumped off of a tall building, as long as she didnt land on anyone, it would be the single kindest act she ever committed. And there are more out there like her. shes just the worst one

Former Chargers and Georgia Bulldogs safety Paul Oliver died by suicide this week, according to reports.

Former San Diego Chargers safety Paul Oliver has died by suicide, according to Kevin Acee of the Union-Tribune. He was 29 years old.

Oliver spent his college career at the University of Georgia. He declared for the supplemental draft in 2007 after being ruled academically ineligible, and the Chargers took him with their fourth-round pick. He played with the Chargers for four years as a reserve, recording four interceptions, 96 tackles and 11 passes defended. He became an unrestricted free agent after the 2011 lockout and signed with the New Orleans Saints, but was released with an injury settlement. The Chargers briefly brought him back, but he had been out of football since 2011.

Oliver is the second former Charger to die from suicide in the last two years after linebacker Junior Seau died in May of 2012.
