My God dude. Grow up.

I forget you don't spend much time over here... JD is a special sort of stupid and somewhat of an acquired taste.

As far as collision course in Atlanta though, most of us are unlikely to have the same outlook as Bama fans. We've got 7 SEC games left... until I see us pummel Florida's arse into the sand in Jacksonville and shove a big ole shark dick up McButterteeth's arse, I'm not thinking about Atlanta.

For now, I'll say the team played at another level from anything I've seen under Kirby tonight, or quite frankly really any game in the last 3 seasons of Richt's tenure either. The trick is - Is MSU any good? Can you use a big home game as a barometer against a program that went 6-7 last year (nearly 5-8 were it not for a blocked field goal in their bowl game against Miami (OH)). UT, Vandy, Auburn all on the road... still a lot of football to play.

Is MSU any good? They beat LSU by 30 and had the 4th ranked defense in the country... we played lights out and diminished from the first play til the last play common man let's enjoy this! Even Kirby gives the players 12 hours ??????

I think you misunderstand me. The performance *tonight* was incredible. They had the 4th ranked defense in terms of YPG and 6th in scoring, but S&P+ had them at about the 30th best defense in the country. All of those stats can be very misleading early. Defensively, we would have stopped a runaway train tonight, so I don't care about their offense. On the offensive side of the ball, we effectively neutralized Simmons all night, which in and of itself was impressive. So yeah, I'm thrilled with the win. But it is game 1 of 8 in the SEC... thinking about Atlanta tonight would be a mistake for our players, and IMO it's a mistake for our fans as well. Keep Choppin'...

I want to inform them that we could be on a collision course. And congratulate e-people for having done nothing, but watch something on tv. And there'll be emoticons

I get the feeling Tennessee was prepping for us instead of UMass... Am I alone in this train of thought?

You don't see any team on the schedule that you look at and just say we're gonna lose. We do usually blow one or a few games that we shouldn't lose and there are some that I'm worried about (pretty much all of them) but I feel like that's gonna be different this year with Kirby I feel like we'll win the games that we should win Especially after what we showed tonight

You didn't even go to the game? Are you actually a Dawg fan?

I was there. It was awesome. You should try going to the games, they are fun.

Meh... you have to assume they had UF circled and they played like shite in that game. They had all off-season to get ready for Tech and played like shite for the first 2 quarters... this defense is not likely to let them come back from a 2 TD deficit. Probably ok even if they did, though I think they may be only 7-10 points better than UMASS this year... they lost a lot from last year's squad.

Ignore the trolls. Feeding them only encourages their immaturity.

I don't want to make too much of one game but last night is the best I have seen the team play in a while. I cannot think of one weakness from any aspect. We played with intensity and best of all our D was fantastic. Our O played well too.

We still have UT and UF to play and both teams give us trouble. The real tests still lay ahead. Can we put together a complete season?

agree and disagree

did you see Kirby last night?

ONE of the answers he gave to a reporter went something like this, "...as long as our guys don't start believing what y'all write and say about them, we may be alright..."

Kirby's job is to keep the team focused

does not matter what the fans think/say/do

I am buying in this year

I think this turns out to be a special and defining year for our program
