bring in 5 star type receivers thru portal. UGA could have an all time offense, like LSU 2019. Will be interesting to see what he does on defense, almost total rebuild, but I trust him to to have a top 10 defense. Tough schedule, but Dawgs could make a 12 team play off. JMHO

He's bringing in receivers anyway. There's no draft, so they're no tanking. You try to field the best team possible every season.

Georgia plays more 2 tight end sets than just about anybody and rotates receivers more than just about anybody. It obviously works well and we're really good at offense, but it's hard to keep receivers on the roster happy.

Personally I think we'd be good with RaRa Thomas and Lovett and CJ Smith and Tyler Williams and then McConkey or Rosemy-Jacksaint, whichever comes back.

Add Dillon Bell (hoping he doesn’t transfer!) and Anthony Evans.

This isn't a product of personel? If the most dynamic players on the team are TEs then you play 12 personel.

If the talent it's elsewhere, you play to your strengths be emphasizing other positions.

The whole sentiment of a “rebuilding year” with one of the most talented rosters in the country is very bizarre to me. Georgia will be heavily favored over all but a few opponents and likely be a top 5 team headed into next season.

More worried about losing our whole line than I am about who Beck might throw to next season

We've got an opportunity to shut down the Texas and Bama discussions before the end of the 2024 season.

I agree. If Beck comes back I don't see why we couldn't be even better next year. The bad news is that the schedule will be tougher, but the good news is that all we have to do to get in the playoffs is finish in the Top 12.

Texas and Bama

We could beat both and still have to play one or both in the post season. You got seccg and 12 team playoffs. Gona be real aggravating to take care of teams early on only to have to play them again later.

We might even be able to lose 3 games in a season and still make the CFP in a of years from here on out, assuming one of them is in the SECCG. Teams 13-19 in the final CFP poll all had 3 losses.

Everything is going to be really different. Still trying to wrap my mind around it.

The problem is that the Playoff Committee will select who they want in the 7-12 positions. Those won't be automatic qualifiers.

Next year's line will be much more talented than that even after losing 3 starters.

Two of those starters were out half this year, so that enormous drop off likely won't materialize. Van Pran is the biggest loss, but that is half leadership, and it's on coaches to make up much of that gap.
