Well.. Who the frick knows

.@ToddEllisSC and @CoachWMuschamp point out game still on for Saturday night as of right now, but that could change #Gamecocks

The school wants the game played as scheduled, the governor is on a war path to have it canceled.

She wasn't this uppity about it during the floods last year when Clemson played ND. Perfectly fine allocating state resources for them.

Per David Cloniger at The State: Muschamp says USC has schedules for the regular Saturday time and a potential Sunday time. They'll go with what they're told.

Your vile and evil woman governor doesn't want any tv competition for her press conferences Saturday. If people are watching the game, how will they ever know that she single-handedly confronted the hurricane? And saved south carolina?

It's a popular thought that she doesn't want to look bad if the game gets played as scheduled without a hitch.

She's made herself look silly this entire ordeal.

To be fair, Clemson/ND was played the night of all the really bad rains coming down and no one had any clue it would be as bad as it turned out to be. I don't think anyone anticipated 11 Trillion gallons of rain to fall on SC over a 3 day span. This is an event that you can see coming and I can understand her actions. Headlines that read "15 dead after storm hits crowded stadium", would certainly reflect poorly on both USC and ultimately UGA if they agreed to it, but it would still happen under her watch as Governor.

We played on the same day. Our game got relocated because we didn't have the state resources to cover the game. Their game was played as scheduled, with state support.

The only fair difference to bring up was the boil water advisory.

Clemson/ND- Oct 3rd 2015

USC/LSU- Oct 10th 2015

Clemson played GT on the 10th, but the reason the USC/LSU game was moved because the physical infrastructure in Columbia was crippled. Roads and bridges washed out, the canal was still not repaired, and the upstate was relatively untouched. This situation and the flood are apples and oranges.

Depending on the damage in Jax the cocktail party might have to be moved, that is something to watch too.
