Blood will be shed in week one. I got about every pick bassackwards. My whole picture of how the UGA game would play out got turned upside down. And Corso picking UGA ? WTF?

So the correct picks were:
1) South Carolina 11.5 North Carolina
2) Ole Miss 2.5 Vanderbilt
3) Alabama 19.5 Virginia Tech
4) LSU 5.5 TCU
5) Georgia 3.5 Clemson
6) 61.5 total points scored Georgia vs. Clemson.....Over or Under?
7) Who will Corso pick on Gameday...Georgia or Clemson?
8) Who will have more passing yards....Murray or Boyd?
9) 100 yards rushing for Todd Gurley......Over or Under?
10) Georgia's first offensive play.....Run or a Pass? Void since the first play was a penalty
11) And finally, please list the names of two of your fellow Hunger Games participants that you would like to terminate, if you somehow earn the privilege to do so. And no clue about this one.

So I got 6 out of 9 since 10 was thrown out?

Dave, my political brother.

It was a fricking pass. Jefferson has the transparency of Obama on this question.

Seriously. The first play from scrimmage was a penalty and a fumble. There is no way to know what that play would've been...even without the penalty. With the penalty...the first play was neither.

Let it go man....let it go.

I believe in the hidden rule book, buried deep in the woods....it states that all disputes will be handled by Jefferson and his word is final....otherwise, go play the fantasy games on ESPN

Sexy, I tend to agree which I explained in my assessment of the ESPN play by play but you could argue both ways. Technically some play was called for that down but the play was not executed due to the false start. The first executed play was a pass no doubt but the question is was it the same play that was called during the false start? We might never know. Logically, the first play called during the false start could have been a run and then with the loss of 5 yards due to the penalty, Murray/the coaches might have switched to a pass play. So it really boils down to your definition of a play. However, 2 aspects support your case:
1. Jeff only specified run or pass in the pick question so "penalty" was not a choice for answering the question.
2. If a play = a down, then a false start penalty is definitely not a down because it remained first down but with 15 yards to go due to the penalty. This is pretty much the way I see it and therefore I would rule that the penalty was not a play and therefore the first play was a pass.

It comes down to a fundamental truth.

Look up the the play by play.

The first OFFICIAL play done by UGA was a pass play.

Everything else is clutter. I'm surprised Jeff went to the DEM playbook of deflection in week 1.

But, but, should Obama attack Syria or not? Isn't it funny how liberal Dems like Rex who condemned Bush for attacking Iraq after 23 U.N. resolutions, approval by a vote of Congress and with with a large coalition of the willing now support Obama to attack Syria with little support from anyone? You can't make this shite up.
