If the Dawgs were a top 25 hoops team, would you watch all of their games? I just cannot get into basketball.

Who the hell gave you the right to post on here?

In all seriousness though I definitely would, I love college hoops, but since UGA sucks so bad I end up following ACC and Big East schools to be entertained.

Definitely. I've always watched as many as I could. We play Florida tomorrow @ 7pm est by the way.

I want us to be relevant so bad it hurts. Gotta recruit though and Fox has proven to be average at that so that has to get better if we want to excel. I know that sounds obvious but really it's not too hard when it comes to basketball. Getting just one big name player does wonders to your program. Fox was able to keep KCP in state 2 years ago but needs to keep up the pace if we want to be relevant.

Still tough to recruit a star every year. We got KCP and then were there until the end for Tony Parker. It's just hard to recruit these guys when they get offers from schools who give a shite about basketball. All we have to offer is Athens, but these guys are so second rate to football players that the whole party/pussy scene isn't as great as it would be at a basketball school.

we have an extremely shitty fan base...I'll admit that I was a part of the problem when I was in school. No 5 star athlete wants to play in an arena that's only a third of the way full.

Sure, we sell out the occasional game but it's still not an awesome atmosphere that most top programs offer...and if there's a high 4 star or 5 star player in Georgia, most of the big name programs will be after them.

If/when the AD decides that Fox's time is up, the only way we'll get a lot of big name prospects to stay home is if we go out and offer a MASSIVE contract and really pump money into the program. I'm not sure our athletic department sees that as a profitable venture.

that sounds true in theory, but i saw trey, travis, dustin, and gerald all the time downtown together a couple years ago the year we were actually good and made the tourney. there were literally lines of bitches grinding on them while they just stood there getting fed drinks standing against a wall. they were absolutely rolling in pussy. because they were good.
