Just wanted to check in and say hi. It's been 27 months since I retired and I now know that I should've done it sooner. Anyway, wife and I have done some traveling and have a rather large trip planned starting in May. Dakotas, Wyoming, Montanna maybe, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Arkansas, and home. Key West again in June. Not sure about later but thinking about going back to Maine again. Alaska in 2025.

Hoping for a great 2024 football season! Hope everyone is well!

Would the Dakotas be a viable living spot or does it get too damn cold in the winter.

I’m thinking it’s too damn cold.

Parts of South Dakota have milder winters than North Dakota. I have a friend that lives about 30 miles south of Sturgis and winters there are milder than further north.

Other than winter, it's a great place to work and live.
