Well, I am very capable of sucking at golf anytime I tee it up........so I am not condescending to anyone who struggles. It's a cruel and mean game sometimes. It's just frustrating when you get behind slow players that are trying to imitate Tiger Woods reading a ten-foot putt from five different directions........when it's probably a putt for quadruple-bogey.

Mainly played mini-tours (Hooters, e-golf, etc). I sniffed making it through a few PGA Tour Monday Qualifiers but just fell apart when I realized I might qualify. I was breaking even money-wise for awhile and then missed a few cuts and had to start working to pay off the debt. Now i've got it paid off I'm ready to get back out there and try to make it happen full-time. It's hard if you don't have quite a few sponsors. I have friends on the PGA Tour & they are making me jealous. LOL.

I hear some of those guys out there are basically living out of their cars from tournament to tournament. But, you've got to chase the dream right? I wish you good luck! That's awesome.

When you win your first tour tournament, hold up three fingers in the air. This will be a shout out to your boys on dawgrant......

Anybody get their hole-in-one yet??

I'm still chasing that one. Had one come to rest about 8 inches from the cup. Had another land on the lip of the hole, bounce off the pin to about 3 feet (i know because i heard it and there was a ball mark on the lip)......And then one time, i hit a shot on to a sloping green, and we all watched the ball spin and start tracking towards the pin.....slowly rolling........everybody yelling for it to drop.........and BOOM!!...it vanished!.....and we all went ape shite giving high-fives. But, then when we got up to the green it was like 20 feet away from the pin......not even close. It was all just an optical illusion because of the undulations of the green and the view from the tee. Felt like a dumbass.

I'll get one one day though.

Nike SQ Driver
Callaway Steelead Irons
P3 Radi-Eye putter which is the best thing I have in my bag.

The RadiEye guys were in the '11 and '12 PGA Shows and the demonstration was amazing. I've used it for over 3 years now. You can't buy one now though, I believe they are in negotiations with one of the bigger companies. It's an approved putter by the USGA. Rick Lewallen uses it.

I carry a 6 handicap, so I am not what you would consider a hack nor a pro, but I do have a Hole in one as well as a hole out from 156 yds out on a fairway.

HIO- #13 on Forest Hills GC Augusta, Ga.
Elevated 125 yrd Par 3 with water straight down the hill on the right. Stock PW, to the center on a back pin placement, took the break to the hole-plink.

Hole out- #7 Jones Creek GC Evans, Ga.
Dogleg left Par 4, drove over the trees on the left due to my natural left to right ball flight, to around 295 yds. Left myself 156 in straight down the hill, pulled the 9 iron as I clubbed down for the hill, never hit anything but the cup-Slam dunk. Very cool feeling.

As far as clubs-

Driver-TaylorMade Tour Burner Superfast (white)
3 wood-Adams Speedline Fast 12 fairway
4-PW-Adams Insight XTD3 Steel
GW-Ping Eye2
Putter-Ping Craz-e

As for my weekly courses, I live in Evans so I have plenty to choose from. My buddies and I usually end up at Bartram trail or Jones Creek. I played the Monticello course at Savannah Lakes this past Friday.
I worked at the Augusta National when I got out of College so I have played it 3 times. 86,82,82 on my rounds there. That was in 2001-2003.

I don't even keep an official one anymore. I'm probably about a 12 right now, i would guess.

Just went up to a 9 handicap. I don't know why I add my scores in the winter.

Hole in one: I've never had one nor seen one. Closest I came was about one more roll into the hole.

We should plan an outing at UGA some time.

I am from Evans and was a member out at Bartram for awhile. I have played those area courses about a bazillion times LOL. I played HS, Collegiate, & Pro golf and have yet to play the National. I will get out there one day. That's usually the first question I get asked when people find out i'm from DisGusta.

That's a pretty stellar tee shot around that frickin' dogleg. I HATE that hole seeing as how I play a power-fade haha. I usually have to hit like a 4 or 5 iron off the tee to the top of the hill and hope to have around 200 left.

Yeah i've known many a fellow player to live out of their car and be basically homeless in order to try and make it. One of my former teammates from college just played in a PGA Tour event a few weeks back and he took a TON of photos(as you would expect). He missed the cut but loved every minute of it and I hope to heck I get out there ASAP. I hate this office/cubicle crap...but you gotta do what you gotta do. LOL

Only place around with 5 par 3's and 5 par 4's. I usually drive the green on #8 every round. Cool course.

Which HS and College did you play for? I went to Lakeside in HS.

You don't have to tell me how great my tee shot was. Those were 2 of the purest shots I have ever played. We played from the tips that day so the fade from the Driver was a must. Went up beautifully over the trees and landed right at the bottom of the crest of the hill. I am just like you normally though; I usually pull the 4 or 5 iron to the fairway and conced par from the blue tees. It's a tough hole.

Yeah since that tree on the left got killed & they've started to clear out the area behind the green that hole is even easier now.

I went to Evans & played for KSU. UGA was #1 in golf when I went to play college golf so I had to give up on that dream. haha

Bubba Watson apparently withdrew from Arnold Palmer's tournament this weekend after shooting 83............with an 11 on par 5 number six. (Three drives in the water. Off the same tee. OUch.)

And.....John Daly shoots 90 earlier in the week...topping Bubba not only in final score, but with a 12 on a par 4.

Cruel fricking Game................
