Haven't had a chance to read it yet.. waiting till my next throne trip to dig into it. Following him wont be easy for anyone, figured you were up to the challenge of it first. Dont let me down.

Just advance the plot. All style choices are yours

Is there a time limit or can I wait til the creative juices are flowing? Just got some enhanced lollipops from my sister in Colorado

That should spark a good story

I was wondering this too. Do we want to put a time limit on this or should we just leave it up to the next person in the lineup to post something whenever? I'm thinking you can post your submission when you want so long as you don't just disappear from the board for weeks on end, don't get banned, and acknowledge that you know you're next up.

so are people posting their post in here, then lew posts it in the stickied thread? Seems odd to have the main thread locked so no one can post in it.

It was in chefs original thread. I'll see if i can find it and bump it.

Wg i think the idea is to unlock it when the next postwr is ready to continue the story. Then lock it again so it doesnt get bogged down with other stuff..

I locked it so I don't have to delete a bunch of "lol" emoticons

I get the reasoning..just seems like a frick ton of work on your part to unlock and lock for the like 50 different entries.

But thanks!

It's the offseason. It's time to unwind and relax.

Okay ladies and gentlemen. I'm not an original DRanter and don't have personal relationships with any of you. Who is Chef and why in the hell haven't I read any of his books? Dude's pure.

I don't think the time element should be a big factor on second glance. but whatever you guise think. id rather somebody chew on it a bit than juggle work, hormone therapy, etc and mail some shite in

Exactly. This doesn't need to be done overnight. I'm going to think on my part when the time comes.

Just know that I do sleep sometimes so don't post your story in the middle of the night and expect the story thread to be unlocked.

This is my thinking. Know that people are waiting but don't just rewrite Dick and Jane (unless it's a really fricked up version of Dick and Jane that fits into the plot) to get something down. Write a draft or two if you need to. This may be the only artistic process you ever engage in in your life so embrace the shite out of it

btw imagine people's reactions when they come to this board. They very well may not click/have clicked on this thread, so at the top they'll see chef's post locked and stickied and be like "what in the absolute frick is going on here"

No need to be nervous. Ideally this thing is going to go in some bizarre directions and will take a lot of stylistic turns. Just try to pay attention to each entry to keep the continuity up as best you can. That said, I do feel for the posters in the latter half of the lineup that are going to have a lot of backstory to consider

That might be the most beautiful thing about all of this; nobody but the people involved are going to know why the frick there's this stickied and locked thread full of god knows what at the top.
