There's no state tax in Fla, and I think I heard his part of the buyout was to be spread over several years. A few commercial endorsement deals should cover that.

......okay, so he still pays 35% to federal, plus SS and MC/MC.....

presuming he pays a total of 40% taxes, he is looking at $2.1M the first year.

Also, I didn't mean he would literally be making $0.......
