I didn't know they could call a game like that but it is the only thing to do......imagine how hot and humid it is tween the hedges and just sitting there waiting for weather to pass....no thanks.

T'was the perfect season opener. Revealed some weak spot while boosting confidence.

There were... Issues. But nothing I'm too concerned about. Most of the defensive stuff looks like it can be fixed. At the game, I felt like they ran it much better than they did. ULM has a good young qb.

1st game jitters. The greatest improvement in a season is from 1st to 2nd games. By next week the secondary will be much improved and the tackling problems addressed. The real test will be when The Hated Spurrier comes to town. A win then will set the tone for the season.

Pretty good game overall. I think the most important thing is we came out healthy. I hate the feeling of holding my breathe everytime one of our guys gets tackled. Such bad injury luck the past few years has me gun shy.
