This seems harsh but it's not far from reality. I know there is strong sentiment and a trend towards legalizing pot in our nation and honestly I don't have a problem with it. I don't see it as any more harmful than alcohol, maybe less harmful. But there is lawful age restriction on drinking as well there should be for pot when it is legalized. Regardless, there is a higher standard for achievement in any field which applies to sports even more so since smoking damages your lungs. Any business manager doesn't want employees under the influence of alcohol or pot and it obviously isn't more unreasonable for scholarship athletes to be held to a higher standard regardless of the legal implications. Bottom line: these young men need to put their old way of life behind them and focus on taking advantage of a great opportunity. They would do well to consider 1 Corinthians 13:11:

============================================
When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I gave up childish ways.

It was about 200 grams total in the car, divided in four baggies, two under drivers seat, two under passenger. He was in the passenger, with 3 total people in the car.

According to AJC write up there were 4 people in the car. Bessent was a passenger. Drugs were found in seperate bags underneath both front seats. None of the 4 occupants would claim ownership so all 4 were charged.

Sounds as if they had divided the total amount up between them, if there were four people in the car and four baggies.

AU will take care of this like they did with $cam Newton and Nick Marshall. Somebody will get paid and it will all go away.
