My sister in law lives in Ft. Myers. Burn that damn place to the ground.

Pretty much every place in Florida is a craphole to live in. The only decent places I have seen were around the Lake county areas, Apopka, Eustis, Mt. Dora, all that area. Everywhere els, its ok to go on vacation, but I will never live there. Tampa was a cesspool, and most of the areas around it were crapholes also. Too many different cultures crammed in all those areas, all of them wanting their own thing, not to mention all the regulations from the cities and state when it comes to building codes and permits. Give me Georgia any day of the week!

I look forward to the first '3 and out' by Georgia........in the first quarter against Clemson...........where we will predictably see THE TRUE COLORS of you and many here...............

First quarter? How 'bout first possession???

We win this game but struggle to do so against a team that we should beat pretty easily....we have WAAAYyyy to many question marks on the defensive side of the ball and at the QB position to be dominant in the first game....

What is interesting though is having a week off between the first and second games....if we had the 'cocks at home instead of that hell hole in central souf carolineer we very well might put up those kinds of numbers against the gamecocks....

I think we may be on the cusp of a special season but it is going to be tight until the midway or later point....

No disrespect German, but I think we throttle Clemson. From everything I'm hearing, even though we have some question marks, the defense looks to be way improved over last year and has actually been telling most consistent in practice. We will way better than most teams on both sides of the ball, and there's no reason whatsoever that we should lose a single game this year. No other team has what we have as a collective unit, and I see us becoming a juggernaut by the third or fourth game. I'm not saying we beat the cocks by 40, but I will say by at least 3 touchdowns.

Nothing would be more welcomed!!! I hope you are right. I am from the Dooley / Munson era so we are always on the verge of being whipped no end by anyone at any time...

I think this is entirely possible also...and I hope we can (and think we do) get through the first three weeks of the season 2-0 and then anything is possible....

So those of us that were critical of the defense and wanted CTG gone...what? We were wrong?

Sure the fire everybody crowd are a bunch of loons but being upset after losing to Vandy is justified IMO.

No. I'm talking about the mental patients here that will have aneurisms and give up on the hopes of the entire season the first time Mason throws and incomplete pass against Clemson.

You watch. It will happen. I gaurantee it.

Firewind's Fearless prediction: UGA - 55 Clemson - 17

how confident are you in that prediction? Because if the answer is 'very' I will gladly take 38 points in a wager. (Still rooting for Dawgs but this type of homerish exuberance is part of why Dawg fans have such a rep for living in fantasyland).

Better to keep quiet and then celebrate after the fact. P.s. I hope your prediction is spot on.

You remember that part in Jaws where Chief Brody is scoopin' chum and throwin' it in the water and then Jaws Comes up and opens his mouth, and Brody backs up and the cigarette almost falls out of his mouth, then rushes inside and tells Quint that they're gonna need a bigger boat? That's Clemson when the get to Sanford. They are gonna realize in a hurry that they're gonna need a bigger boat for the arse whoopin' they're about to take.

This ain't the little engine that could, this ain't that team that just might be able to eke out a victory, this UGA team will be a juggernaut, a Titan on the college football landscape, and the bullet from Brody's gun when it hits the scuba tank. BOOM! Motherfrickers!

You also predicted Georgia was going to rout Boise State in 2011. That didn't happen.

Hey, what I want to know, is do you think Georgia can beat the Yellow Flies 223-0 and break the all time record this year?

I know a Maggie and Jay with that last name. I imagine they are probably related. I don't know them personally but my brother likes to fish with Jay.

I did a semester at ABAC myself. I know that feeling. I definatly wonder about what happened to some people I grew up around that moved away or disappeared. I can't remember names very well so that always kills me. Didn't realize maggie had a sister that died so recently. Sad stuff
