Looks like it’s becoming official that he’ll be GT’s new OC. Not great timing.

Better now than a week before the game, at least now we have a few weeks to adjust to his absence.

Based on google search, his main contribution is being the gameday liason between Stet and Monk on the sideline, which isn't nothing.

Faulkner gets experience calling plays. Will be ready to come home when Todd Monken leaves.

Interesting since a few people were guessing that Monken would bring Faulkner with him as OC if he took the Purdue opening

Wonder if this means Monken is staying in Athens and Buster went looking for the next rung up the ladder since Monken wasn't leaving and bringing him in as an OC to his new job.

My first reaction to this was that CTM is staying put… as of now

He’s been an OC at 3 schools.

I hope he doesn’t try to take anyone else with him.

Oh whoops. Thought he was younger than he was or something I guess.

Everyone is gonna want a piece of our magic. One of the downsides of being elite. So is starting a season with a team that lost 15 to the NFL.

Faulkner worked with the QBs on the practice field. Monken handled big picture, scheme development. Faulkner handled mechanics and skill development.

Bummer, but as other says, people will want a piece of the magic like they did with Saban. Kirby is lucky to have Bobo and Muschamp on staff who can fill in at their respective coordinator roles if we get poached too badly. We just have to keep developing young coaches. I expect more to come.

If anything, this sounds like it’s in Bobo’s wheelhouse.
