I saw where UK has no dept service at all with
Rupp Arena because the city of Lexington paid for it...they just split receipts,concessions,parking etc...pretty sweet deal.

yeah, all schools have diferent methods of accounting because of state laws, ownership of venues, etc... Some places the AD owns the stadiums, some the schools.

The article is a horse whipped welt of what the administration wants out there as general perception never forget that.

The truth is somewhere in the middle, what bothers me somewhat is it really doesn't cost a fortune to hold a general discussion on these type matters by the stakeholders involved but none of them want to be the labeled as a spender by the others.

Translation: Bama and LSU have elite results and enough cash flow to service their elite debt. Auburn is definitely getting the best bang for their investment. UGA, not so much. Thanks for sharing this. It does put the financial aspects in perspective. You are a good contributor on this board.
