I once was blind, but now I see! Then, I turned to look upon Sodom and Gomorrah as the sky fairy raped and pillaged the two cities and was converted into a pillar of salt, which was kind of cool because salt was pretty expensive at the time and the kids took me to market and sold me to Nebuchadnezzar's manservant and they lived happily ever after as I was devoured by royalty as Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego partied down in the fiery furnace.

I don't think I am. I just don't profess to know why God set up the universe like he did. Someone said it earlier.....
He allows pain and suffering for two reasons. First, he uses it as a test and a learning experience...
Second, if there was no pain and suffering, there would also be no joy, IMO. Joy is only joy when juxtaposed with its opposite.
Just my opinion.

I'm an atheist and I think you're making an arse of yourself. You're the kind of piece of shite who raises hell about prayer at a HS football game, is pissed about "In God We Trust" on money, and probably goes on diatribes to the well-meaning Church of Latter Day Saints senior citizens coming to your door offering you literature.
We're a minority, and you being a dick isn't ever going to change that. Making people think and question is good, but only if they're in the mood to listen and consider yours a reasonable voice. Learn to keep your mouth shut and speak your opinions when appropriate. A thread about a kid who became paralyzed between the hedges finally getting some feeling in his dead legs is not the time.
