Idk if I would describe how I felt as bored. I mean, I kind of was. I know vs Mizzou I was and I just wanted it to end. No, what is different for me is my apathy. Maybe it's a good thing, but horrible things would happen to Georgia and I just don't care. I am angry but not like I would be. The team is pathetic and nothing surprises me with them. It's fricked up that I really feel that we would have been better if we had lost Saturday. I have felt that way 2 weekends in a row. Really, the last 3. The team hasn't improved at all and I feel it would almost be worth a year of ridicule from an opposing fan base if we finally had a way out.

Instead I just sit here and wait for us to do this all over again next year. I thought I'd never et lower on this team than I did in 2010-2011. I have reached a new depth. If Pruitt leaves and Schotty and Richt stays...man.

I've already determined that I'm not going to a game in Sanford next year. I'll go to Oxford and SC and maybe Lexington but I'm just going to pass on being disappointed in Athens until something changes. Starting to feel bitter when I walk into the stadium and I have way too many good memories in there to let this bumblefrick of events ruin them.

Ha, problem is next September I'll be all hyped up again and will throw all my money at UGA yet again. I already plan on being in Oxford and the dome to watch us lose to UNC.

Idk, I just hope for a miracle that next year I am watching UGA trot out our newest star, Eason, for new Head Coach _______

EDIT: I will say, I am always excited for UGA to be back but it's starting to really suck going into every season knowing that nothing better than Tampa will follow.

This reminds me: what the frick is the SEC doing with its bowl tie-ins? Birmingham? Charlotte? Memphis? Jacksonville? Shreveport? Tampa? The only decent trips for both players and fans seem like Orlando, New Orleans, and Nashville. Everything else is meh or woeful. Meanwhile, MAC teams are going to the Bahamas and Miami and New York. Explain this.

Yep and that's what makes it bad. It's just at the point this is what I have come to expect.

Don't even go there...please....

I already have the sick feeling that Schotty will still be here and we know Richt will. Nothing like starting Eason's college career with a grade A shite OC. I'm sure that won't cause any future issues.

It sucks but I'm convinced that's the oath we are on. Frankly, I'm so resigned to it at this point that if we retain richt and somehow Pruitt stays that it'll be a victory even if we keep Schotty. Because despite what people want or what some seem to think there's little chance Schotty is fired. Based on Richts past MO of holding on to coordinators and the message it sends by firing him (that he and the administration completely failed in this OC endeavor) I don't see him getting canned.

Maybe they'll have Sale take the fall because of all the heat but I'm just readying myself for the typical "too early to judge" bullshite that has plagued this program.

I think that's a key part too. It's not like it's a surprise that Schotty sucks. And if it is then that's a big problem too.

I think it makes it feel odd too that it seems a majority of people are finally resigned to the fact that a change needs to happen but not many thing it'll happen anytime soon. And then we end up 8-3 to date and that keeps it in further limbo (and no I'm not saying I wanted UGA to lose).

I just don't see much reason to expect things to change and that's really disappointing. A freshman QB and several new guys on the OL are going to struggle a ton next year because that's just what happens when you depend on that many newcomers. That excuse will either keep the coaches or get them fired and the next year is "learning the system" plus the attrition that happens when new coaches come in. Then back in rebuilding mode.

Yea, it looks like Georgia is going to be irrelevant for a while regardless of Richts future. I just rather, like you, rip the band aid off now and get the rebuilding over with. At this point we are delaying the inevitable

Don't forget only scored 9 pts again Missouri and no wins against a winning team. OT against GSU but we beat 9 crap teams so we should be happy

Their defense is actually good though (not justifying it so much as saying I didn't expect us to light up the scoreboard in that one). It's the struggles against bad defenses that are really concerning.

But regarding Mizzou, Towns basically has to be the MVP for the season for the coaches. If he didn't make that tackle on the first play to prevent the pick 6, I think our whole staff would be looking for jobs. Because we weren't gonna score a TD in that game to overcome it.

Fair enough. But even Vandy scored 10 on them

We shouldn't be favored over GT at their house after playing the way we did against GSU; Southern is basically GT light which does not bode well. I don't know the problem with Tech this season but they did beat a good FSU team.

GSU would very likely beat GT this year.

We are not a good team but it's not hard to see how we are favored.

GSU is a good team this year and playing UGA is their super bowl. Don't get me wrong, we should have beaten them by 2 TDs but I wasn't surprised it was a close game. I definitely think GSU is better than GT but the fact that we couldn't score 30 on GSU is very worrisome.

If our unmotivated offensive line cannot get their act together to save face against Georgia Tech, then Richt has lost all semblance of leading the team. The defense will do its job but the offense can't again be a no-show.

On the other hand, losing two years in a row to Georgia Tech...especially given Tech's record this year...would turn the burner up a notch on the Richt hot seat. I think it would make anything but a miraculous 2016 season the finale for him.

GT is really bad and Thomas got knocked out of the Miami game. Is he gonna play this weekend?
